Re: Eat before a Bootcamp Workout?

Hello Mike,

Our program is a highly intensive exercise routine. We recommend that you eat at least 2 hours before. This enables your body to have enough energy for the work out, and also have enough time to digest the food before becoming active. When you exercise straight after a large meal, you may feel sluggish and have an upset stomach. This is caused due to your muscles and digestive system competing with each other for energy resources.

After boot camp, you should always re-hydrate with water or an energy drink and if you are feeling hungry we do recommend having a protein shake.

Hope this helps

Yours In Fitness,

Urban Boot Camp Team
